Jay Cohen
Jay Cohen has over twelve years of experience in tenant representation, third party brokerage and development. Jay is also an attorney and practiced in real estate law and commercial litigation for 9 years. This previous experience included a position within St. Louis County, Missouri Government where he was involved with many real estate related matters for planning and zoning, public works and the highway departments.
Jay has worked on a regional and national basis with such retailers and restaurants as: Audio Express, Biaggi’s, Books-A-Million, California Pizza Kitchen, Chili’s, Chuck E Cheese, Circuit City, Dress Barn, Ethan Allen, Flix Brewhouse, Golf Galaxy, Harbor Freight Tools, Jos. A. Bank, Kirkland’s, Landmark Luggage, Noodles & Co, Olga’s Kitchen, Organized Living, PetSmart, Pier 1, Rainbow, Rent a Center, Ross Stores, Shoe Carnival, Staples, Swoozie’s, The Tile Shop, ULTA and Watson’s.
Jay is the past Senior Advisor of the ICSC Next Generation – St. Louis Chapter and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute and the National Association of Realtors.
At the 2008 ICSC Heartland States Idea Exchange, Jay was a Roundtable Discussion Leader on the subject of Next Generation: Growing Your Career in the Shopping Center Business.
At the 2007 ICSC Missouri/Kansas Idea Exchange, Jay was a Roundtable Discussion Leader on the subject of Tenant Representation.
Jay has a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the University of Missouri and is a graduate of the St. Louis University School of Law.
