The Fresh Thyme Farmers Market [represented by L3’s Ian Silberman and Craig Wielansky] chain is opening its newest St. Louis area store in south St. Louis County Wednesday, its fourth Missouri location.

The specialty retailer said its store at 9920 Lin Ferry Drive in Green Park will open at 7 a.m. on Oct. 11 following a ribbon cutting Tuesday afternoon at 3:45 p.m. The new grocery store is on the site of the former Tesson Ferry Branch of the St. Louis County Library.

On Wednesday, the first 250 shoppers in line aged 18 or older will receive a free bag of groceries. Throughout the day, every 100th customer will receive their groceries for free at checkout, the chain said.

Chicago-based Fresh Thyme’s first St. Louis area store opened in Fairview Heights in 2014. The chain also has stores in Kirkwood, Town and Country and O’Fallon, Mo. A St. Peters store will open in 2018, CEO Chris Sherrell told the Post-Dispatch earlier this year.
